Podcast about Story Craft - The Narrative Breakdown

Hi there Scrivener folks,

Hopefully this is the right forum for this kind of thing. But I just wanted to share the link to a cool podcast that focuses on various aspects of story craft. It’s for writers and fans of good storytelling and it’s called The Narrative Breakdown.

There are 6 episodes up so far with two more coming soon. And it’s for all writers - fiction folks, screenwriters, playwrights, etc.

Full disclosure - I’m one of the co-hosts along with Cheryl Klein (continuity editor on Harry Potter and editor of several award-winning books at Scholastic). We both just love talking about story structure and narrative theory so much we figured why not invite other folks to listen in. Plus, it’s an excuse to include some really cool guests (mostly professional writers) in the discussion.

Anyway, if you like thinking about the nuts and bolts of good stories, maybe you can check it out and let us know what you think on the iTunes store.

And if there are any topics you’d like us to cover please let us know.

Thanks and happy writing,
James
