When using Edit > Select not all menu options function no matter how I select text. See the image below, the ones in the red box do not work, latest windows version, on a windows 11 pro machine. Is this a bug or am I using the tool incorrectly? It does not matter if place cursor, select no style text, or formatted text, or a paragraph style.

Thanks for noting that. I could have sworn this was written up already, but it looks like that never happened. I’m not sure when they broke. They do work within character style ranges, I’ve found, just not paragraph styles.
Fortunately there are copies of these commands in the ••• button of the floating styles panel that do work, so the functions themselves are available.
