Problem with Dark Mode Compilation

  1. I had no problem compiling text with multiple font colors until today.
  2. Last night, for the first time, I tried Scrivener’s Dark Mode.
  3. This morning, now in Light Mode, whenever I compile, all the fonts that were black have been changed to white in the compiled document. The footnotes remain black text, and the red text that I had scattered throughout remains red.

NOTE: I DO NOT WANT TO OVERRIDE FONT COLOR IN THE COMPILATION BECAUSE I HAVE SOME THINGS IN RED TEXT FOR LATER EDITING.

Why is this text color change happening and what can I do to fix it?

Ah, nevermind. I restarted Scrivener in Light Mode and it fixed the problem.

For future reference, the underlying text color should be unaffected when you switch between Light and Dark mode.

It was affected. Please don’t tell me what “should” happen when I am reporting what did happen.

I think I confirmed that the behavior you saw was unexpected. Is that a bad thing?
