Hi, as you can see in the title, I can’t compile the tables in my project as I would like.
I’m working with many tables, and a great part of them are larger than the page’s height. They get cut off, and don’t show complete.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Is it even possible that I can do something about it?
Should I just replace the tables with images?
Tables are really complicated for most tools, especially text-orientated ones. I’ve never been able to bend any tool to my will to do what I expect. Perhaps possible, but always consumed a lot of time at the expense of doing the table or writing the text. Big time waster.
I found best success doing tables in a spreadsheet (in Excel, Numbers, or even PowerPoint) file which I kept in the Scrivener Research folder, and then put screen shots (PNG format) into the document … then can more easily control the tables’s height and width in the document.
