Question: Scrivener 3 Win Templates

From the Known Issues:

We are still implementing features and ironing out bugs, so you should expect to find things that aren’t working quite as intended. A few issues to be aware of in the current 2.9.0.4 beta:

Project templates have not yet been updated for 3.0, so are not taking advantage of new features and may have some outdated content.

What are the new features that a template will be taking advantage of? I’m trying to figure out a new template and figured I should try and test it in Scriv 3, but I’m not sure what I am supposed to be looking for.

For example, a template might include Scrivener 3-specific section layouts and/or Compile formats. Or might make use of Scrivener 3’s custom metadata capabilities.

So, structurally, the templates are the same for the most part. Since the Compile formats and section layouts are still “in-work” in Scrivener 3 Win, templates made with Scrivener 3 for Mac will still work but not use/work as expected in the Win betas for those functions. Yes? I make the assumption (bad of me I know) that the custom metadata works in the betas.
