quick keys not working for audio control using external keyboard

Hi,

When I playback an audio file, I need to pause and restart frequently. Using my laptop (thinkpad) I can use ctrl-return to do this. But when I dock the laptop and use my external keyboard, these keystrokes do nothing. Is there a fix or a way to get them to work?

Sometimes the spacebar provides this function. Have you tried that?

You may need to access the keyboard software and either make changes there or investigate the keyboard-shortcuts for each command.
