Quick Search not accessible when removed from toolbar

Scrivener for Windows 3.0.0.0 64-bit

Per section 11.5.4 of the manual, the Win+Ctrl+G shortcut is supposed to pop up a Quick Search window if you have removed it from your main toolbar. On my installation, it is not doing so – I have to have Quick Search in the toolbar for it to work.

Can someone else please verify if this works as intended for them?

I would never remove that icon ordinarily, but when I do, I see the same problem.
