Random documents renaming themselves

Hi! I am renaming a few documents in the binder, starting from the top, and as I go down, I realize that some documents renamed themselves with exactly the same titles I typed above. For instance, let’s say in the Intro folder, I rename a document “system’s evolution” and then move on to the main part, then I stumble on a document which renamed itself “system’s evolution”. Event the research folder renamed itself. Since I could not remember all the titles that were changed (I changed about 15 titles and about 4 documents subsequently renamed themselves), I had to decompress the last .bak file to find the real original titles. I have no idea what could cause that. Any thoughts? I work with the latest version of everything on a macbook pro. Thanks.

Yes, this is a known bug that we have flagged for priority fix. It is fortunately easy to avoid in my testing, as the trigger has to do with collapsing/expanding folders with the mouse before “closing” the editing field of the current binder item you’re working on. Punching the Return or Esc key is all you need to do that—so forming the habit of doing so before reaching for the mouse should avoid the problem entirely.

But we only have one report of it, and this one scenario being described, so if you think you have found another we’d love to hear of it!

Thanks. If I find another trigger I will make sure to inform you. I am also happy to have contributed to what I consider the flagship app on my computer.
