I’m super happy to see same-page footnotes now work somewhat in PDF, but now I’m finding that when I compile into PDF, the footnotes sometimes obscure the page number and even trail off the page if they are long enough. The section for footnotes at the bottom of the page never adjusts to how many footnotes there are. Is this a known problem or is there any way to work around it?
Yes, we are aware of this. The workaround at the moment is to give more bottom margin for your footnotes, and move the page number to the top. We are thinking about ways to improve this.
