I hope you will not hate me.
I spend hours browsing through the posts to find my answers, and trying out problems.
This, of course causes some others.
I’m searching how to activate the spellchecker.
To make sure that I had made nothing wrong, I went as far as unchecking it in the options, checking it again, then shutting down, and launching the application again.
After this start, the file open was not the one on which I shut down, but the one I had opened and closed before.
This happened again right now, and is this time NOT related to tutorial, but occurred with two of my own files.
I closed Scrivener, as some new preference settings did not happen (in a template I’m working on, trying to make my own “style sheets”).
The file that would open after this strategical shutdown was not the one I was on, and again, came up in its own window size, as if the very last document had just not been opened.
Ehm, this is not to insist, not urgent for me, and just a report.
Scrivener? The more I use it, the more I do like it.
Hi Lilith, sorry but I’m not following you at all in this post. Can you please state exactly what the problem is in a single sentence and then describe step-by-step how I can duplicate this issue. If I can’t duplicate it I can’t determine if I need to log it as a bug or not.
To start with the problem might be something like:
On launching Scrivener it opens a different document to the one I was in when I last closed Scrivener?
I think she’s saying that it isn’t automatically opening to the last active project when she opens Scrivener. I think.
If so, I’ve had similar happen, but it was operator error. As in I had two projects open side by side, and I closed my main one first, and the secondary one second. Therefore when I relaunched Scrivener, it automatically opened the secondary file. But this was my own fault, because it was the last one I closed.
You think right mightygitis !
I’m sorry. I know my English needs some more practice.
But I have this also when I have only one project open.
And even when (with more than one project open) I take care to close first the project I do not want to open first next time.
Brrrr ! I hope it is clearly said in the end…
If not, I’ll try it in French or German next time.
