Remove certain items from auto-generated ToC on ebook?

Hi all,

I have a quick question about the Table of Contents when creating an ebook with Scrivener. First off - love the software! But when I auto-generate a Table of Contents, it includes unnecessary pages (like the Title Page and Copyright Page, which don’t need to appear in the Table of Contents).

In the attached image, I’d like the ToC to start with “About the Author,” and not include Title Page or Copyright Page. Is there any workaround I can do to remove those links from the auto-generated ToC?

Yes, make sure that they are on different “levels” in the Binder and then choose to include Titles or not when you compile. Create Folders for all levels you want to include in the ToC and have the chapter-text as subdocuments under those folders. Text you don’t want in the ToC you simply have as text documents. When you compile you choose Custom and click the Title box for the Folder level but not for other levels.
