Remove Strike-Through Text

I have a Scrivener document with struck-through text littered throughout a file.
I would like to delete all the struck-through text.
If this can’t be accomplished in Scrivener, does anyone know of a tool that would accomplish this?
To be clear, I need to have all the struck-through text removed, not merely change the formatting to convert struck-through text to plain text.

Depending on the document size the semi-automatic process of “Find by Formatting” ( F) and then hitting (Delete) might be good enough. Repeatedly, either by keeping that Find…-Dialog open or via the “Find Next Formatting” ( G) shortcut.

There are two easy options for this, depending how permanently you want the text removed. If you don’t need it hanging around at all, you can delete it by loading the relevant documents in the editor (Cmd-click to select multiple items in the binder as needed and set View ▸ Scrivenings to show the text), click into the editor to focus it, and then use Edit ▸ Text Tidying ▸ Delete Struck-Through Text. You may first want to use one of the options in Documents ▸ Snapshots ▸ on the selected documents (while focus is still in the binder, so the command applies to all the selected items) so that you have a copy of the document pre-removal in case you end up needing to see what you’d crossed out.

The other option is to keep the struck-through text in the editor but strip it out when compiling. For that, there’s a box to tick under the Options pane in Compile; click the gear icon to access it.

Worked great. I had no idea this feature was hiding in “Text Tidying.”
