I just compiled 2 chapters of my MS using win beta version 2.9.0.16 and told it to remove the text color. When I opened the docuement in word it still had blue text. I’ve added a screenshot of the settings, just in case I missed something.
(thankfully my editor doesn’t care about blue text.
It looks like revision colors are remaining even when that is checked. Is that where your blue text came from? If so you can work around it by going to Format > Revision Mode > Remove all Revisions. That should side-step the problem for now.
My guess is yes since I do use revision mode. I know how to turn it off however, having the color show up in word was unexpected.
This does appear to be intended behaviour. Mac also compiles revision colours.
