Retrieving meta data from PDF files

I notice when I import a pdf of a research document into scrivener, I have the ability to look at the metadata. The metadata fields are undefined. Is there a way to get scrivener to automatically see the
metadata for the citation of that document the way zotero strips it out?

Hi,

I’m afraid not, at least not as far as I know. Scrivener just imports the PDF file whole and then displays it using the standard PDFKit viewer. There isn’t any ability in Scrivener to see the PDF’s metadata.
