Right-click in Binder and Outline behaves unexpectly

Right-clicking a file or folder brings up a context menu, but also selects that item and displays it in the editor.

Example of when this is an issue:

I am drafting prose in the editor. I want to open a research text in a second editor.

I right-click the research text to select “Open in Other Editor” but it’s too late - the reseach has already appeared in my main editor!

(If there is an option to switch this off, then it ought to be set by default.)

Thanks, we’ll look into this. This behaviour was presumed normal, but given a survey of programs that present list and pane style views, there seems to be no clear standard, though many do work the way you describe.
