I honestly don’t understand the big fuzz about being restricted to Dropbox for active Scrivener projects. One can still have backups somewhere else, and not active projects, and all those other things one keeps on the computer.
Ten years ago we didn’t have really smart smartphones. When did we get the first iPad? Five years ago or so? And when did cloud services become common for everyone to use? Also about five years ago? And now it’s suddenly a human right to be able to do anything I wish, on any platform, using any cloud service, and damn the software developer who doesn’t fulfill all my needs!
And still, se how much people have been writing in this forum since yesterday, without using Scrivener!
