My computer automatically saved my files to my OneDrive account.
I use a DropBox account for my business. After reading comments, etc., I tried to download a separate dropbox account specifically for Scrivener. It is not showing up on my computer. I have to login online, and there scrivener does not open. It is also inconvenient to try to go online to open up the files.

I intend on dowloading Scrivener to an IPAD, but I want to be able to open up from either location and just keep writing. If OneDrive works for me, should I just continue its use and not worry about the Dropbox?

Scrivener for iOS does not work with OneDrive. You need to figure out why the Dropbox installer and sync agent is not running on your machine and fix that.

Maybe not in the same user session (and even then I wouldn’t bet on it), but you can definitely have multiple Dropbox accounts and instances active simultaneously on the same computer.
