Scapple wish list

Hi,
Im a Scrivener user and have recently purchased Scapple as well. I really love both applications and am grateful that you have developed these beautiful pieces of software. Though I am no where near in understanding the full capability of Scrivener, I did notice right away, a capacity/function which I wish had been incorporated in Scapple.

That is the capability in being able to list multiple “projects” on the left column (like Scrivener) and being able to choose between/among them. Currently, when you want to browse through multiple “projects”, you have to open each one individually. This itself is in no way an issue or anything, but was something I thought may be useful/helpful for those that want to manage multiple “projects” in a single interface. Just an idea!

Other than that, I really love both Scrivener and Scapple, and I believe these two partners will continue to help me out through my PhD life! Thanks again for the great work!

Hi,

Thanks for the kind words! (This is the Scrivener Wish List forum, by the way…) Scapple is a standard OS document-based application, the same as TextEdit and suchlike, so a list of documents doesn’t belong in the app.

Thanks and all the best,
Keith

I agree that this would be a nice way to navigate around between scapple-oids, but why not add the idea of having multiple saved views as well as multi-dimensional interconnected layers of idea-maps?

Again, Scapple is intended to be a simple app and it uses OS X’s standard document-based application behaviour.

Thanks,
Keith
