Scheduling delivEry?

Hi ALL !
I have been working with a friend who has had writer’s block. Just as an FYI for anyone struggling with this, a really great book is Stephen Koch’s Modern Library Writer’s Workshop and in that book he has a whole chapter about revision, but the most important part was where he said that your first draft is a promise and that revision is that promise redeemed.

I find it to be a very comforting thought — and I felt his advice is excellent. I am using it for my own second draft process.

I’m not really clear what the title of this thread means, but I can vouch for Stephen Koch’s excellent book - it touches on craft, but it’s more about what to expect during the process of writing fiction. I found it very reassuring, and go back to it whenever I find that I am feeling lost and/or doubting myself.
