Hello: I’m a relatively new user so I may be doing something incorrectly. Here is my issue: when I bring up the scratchpad from the tools menu, the window appears and I am able to give the note a title, but nothing else, I am unable to type anything into the Rich Edit window.
I am running Windows version 1.8.0 from Dec. 2014.
I am also able to add new note which bring up a new Rich edit window, but again, I am unable to type in the box. It will make a screen grab, but surely one must be able to type a note as well.
Oh my. Figured it out. You type in the yellow section of the window, leaving a title bar with a significant amount of white space beneath it, which looked, to me, suspiciously, like the window you would type in, in fact it looks exactly like the window I am now typing in. To borrow from the title of a famous play: All’s Well That Ends Well.
Oh, I’m so glad I’m not the only one! Just spent ages trying to work it out, then went to the Forum, registered, and hey presto! The answer is there and I don’t feel so foolish any more…
