Scrivener 3.1.1 crash on launch/never opens after installing

Hi,

I 've been using scrivener for years without issue. Today I tried installing Scrivener on anoter computer I own. Installation seems to have gone without issues, except that Scrivener never launches. I can’t find any crash logs for it. I’m on version 3.1.1, which works well on my previous computer.
I’ve tried installing version 1.9 and it launched without issue.

I’ve tried both the 32 bits and 64 bits versions. I need help! I’ve tried launching as admin. I’ve looked into compatibility mode. Anyone had a similar issue?

Make sure you have whitelisted the installation directory with your anti-virus and firewall solutions. Some configurations get overly excited about the Qt5 framework DLLs being used and don’t allow them to load (or allow them to talk to the network to check with the licensing server.)
