I just downloaded Scrivener 3.3.1 for Mac onto a new Mac running 13.4. It began to start, then halted immediately. I’ve seen similar behavior with my old installation of Scrivener 3 on Ventura 13.2.1 on the Intel iMac I’m replacing, but oddly not on my Intel Mac laptop, which is also running 3.3.1 on Ventura 13.2.1.

You can launch Scrivener without any projects by holding the Shift key when the program starts. Does it still crash?
I am also having the same problem. On Ventura 13.4. I was able to launch Scrivener without any project, but attempting to type into a project causes it to crash.
This error persists for me. Is Scrivener 3 now unusable?
What version of Scrivener do you have? If you can’t get it open to check the version number, what’s the Modified Date on the version in your Applications folder?
