Hi y’all,
I wanted to used Scrivener 3 for Camp Nano but the tool bar is greyed out. Do I need to delete this Scrivener and reload it?
Also: If I copy a web page and paste it in my older version of Scrivener, the titles and words overlap. The only thing I’ve found is to do a section at a time. I figured there had to be a faster way to import my research information.
Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

Hi,
Try clicking on the writing area (type some text) and see if the toolbar gets activated. Mine is greyed out when the focus is on the Outline or some other part of the tool that doesn’t get formatting.
For the second issue, if your need is the contents and not the exact formatting of the text, try pasting unformatted: Ctrl+Shift+V (which will strip formats, enumerations etc) or, after you paste and the text is overlapping, mark all of it (Ctrl+A) and use this dropdown:
For me it happens when I paste from Google Docs directly.
srebrnafh,
Thank you so much for your suggestions. I’ll give them a try and see what happens. I’ll report back in case anyone else is having the same problems.
Not sure if this matters or not, but I’m using Windows 10.

Same version here, so hopefully this will work for you
