Scrivener converts curly quotes to straight quotes on Compile

I’m sure there’s a setting I’m not seeing, but when I compile my manuscript–which uses curly quotes in Scrivener–it exports to Word with straight quotes, which is a nightmare to fix in Word, because I have a character with a nickname starting with '.

How can I stop it from exporting in straight quotes?

Also, make sure you’re using an output font that supports smart quotes.

I always output in Times New Roman for standard manuscript format. Thanks, though!
