I am on a serious deadline and Scrivener has become unusable.
Out the blue, whenever I open the software, I get the message, “Could not establish connection to license server. Please try again later” and then it crashes.
Things I’ve tried:
Uninstalling and reinstalling the program
Disabling anti-virus software
Whitelisting Scrivener on Anti-virus software
Disabling automatic syncing
Opening the app “as administrator”
It’s been a few days of me trying to get the software to work. I’ve seen a few posts about this issue with no solution whatsoever?
I’ve been using Scrivener since 2012 and never had issues like this before, so this is sad. If it’s time for me to throw it the towel and move on to a new writing software, can anyone offer me advice on how to extract my manuscript into a Word file, seeing as the app won’t stay open long enough for me to do a compile?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
