I’m using the automatic creation of TOC while compiling a .mobi file. I do not have a “Content” file anywhere. Scrivener add the TOC to the .mobil file, but also creates a TOC page and puts it at the very beginning.
I don’t want this extra TOC page. It’s redundant and ugly.
If you uncheck the box to “create HTML Table of Contents,” do you get the results you want?
The TOC menu that you see in a Kindle reader is different from the HTML Table of Contents that you see on the TOC page. It’s actually not possible to suppress the TOC menu, even if you wanted to.
