I have the live word counts set to off under the global settings. Sometimes I go to the app and the words are gone as expected. Other times they’re there. If I restart the app, sometimes they disappear again but sometimes not. There seems to be no rhyme or reason.
This is on the iPad Pro m4, FYI.
