Scrivener lacks graphic design features!

While I had heard many praises about the Scrivener software, I am currently testing it to prepare a book.
Great and my surprise to discover such mediocre software:

  • page display problem: one horizontal is added to one vertical
  • you cannot capture or center an image
  • we cannot configure the location of the summary
  • you can configure the coverage incorrectly
  • line bug
  • generation of blank pages when exporting to epub

In short, it’s far from being the ideal tool for a graphic designer :-1: [Mod edit: childish behaviour removed]

We are sorry you are disappointed. However, Scrivener is not and has never claimed to be a graphic design tool.

If you already have a complete manuscript and have reached the design stage, you have already done the parts of the process where Scrivener excels.

I’ve had no issues centering images
Have no idea what you mean by Line Bug
Have zero issues with blank pages

It’s actually excellent software for it’s intended purpose.

Sounds like you need a tutor and/or a DTP app.

There may be a language issue here, but calling a complaint (however misguided it might be) ‘filth’ is surely inappropriate.

No language barrier–my first language is English. How else should I interpret the finger, vomit and three piles of defecation?
That’s offensive and filthy–and if the OP goes away feeling inappropriately put in their place, well too bad for them. They can come back when they’ve learned some manners, as far as I’m concerned.
Sure, my messages may be flagged–it won’t be the first time, it won’t be the last, but so what, message conveyed (and I’m sure received).

Fair enough, I had missed the middle finger …
