For a few days Scrivener has been acting very weird. When I close a document and then reopen it, the formatting of the bullet lists are changed, with strange extra lines and tabs that was not there when I closed it. What have gone wrong?

Yes, it will, that thread has all of the current information on its status. I’ll go ahead and close this one as a duplicate—if you have any new details to share, you can do so over there (but I think we know everything we need to, to fix it at this point, so don’t stress it!).
