Hi, I have saved a couple PDFs in the Research folder, but I’m wondering how I can obtain that PDF file again outside of Scrivener?
It should still be where it was? Just to be certain, I tested this by importing a PDF file into a project as well as by dragging and dropping it; the PDF was still where it was originally located.

Importing a PDF does not remove it from its original location: it makes a second copy.
If you deleted the original copy, you can use Scrivener’s Export command to get it back out.
If you expect to access it outside of Scrivener often, you might want to use the Import Research Files as Aliases command instead.
