Was “the Chinese” a generality? Yes, and such are generally used as a shortening of something like “the Chinese Government”. Was it intended as racist and pejorative? There appears to be no evidence to support that. There is only your assertion. Given the absence of evidence to support your assertion, I think it is fair to say there is no racism.

This is very, very true. I have had the same complaint. YEAH colory icons!!! Whatever complaints I have with Scrivener, they have built a rock-solid product, much like Things. I respect that.
