- If you’ve ever attended a writing conference or picked up a Writer’s Digest, you’ve heard how adverbs are the enemy of good writing. I try to resist blanket statements like that (adverbs definitely have their place - he he), but generally speaking, yes, trimming adverbs is a good thing. Here’s a little Scrivener trick to help you find them.
