When I used to search a word Scriver would exclude all chapters that did not hold that word. Now it still shows all the chapters in the list, even those that do not contain that word. How do I reset this?
Thanks
Look closely at your search criteria options. Did you invert the results, or searching current selection?
Thank you. Aare these in “Settings”?
I think GoalieDad is referring to the “Invert Search Options” in the Project Search’s list of search criteria. Here’s a screenshot showing that list:
You can click the small magnifying glass in the project search box to see this list of options.
You might also want to reset your search using the Reset option in that list and try it again to see if you get better results.
Search function will not exclude chapters with out that word. Could it be I have no break betwwen the files of the chapters in the binder? Any tips?
(Merged with existing topic.)
By “no break” do you mean that the chapters are all in the same Binder document? Or something else?
The chapters are all in separate vinder documents. The search function had suddenly stopped only showing documents with that word and syill shows all documents even though they do not contain that word.
FOUND IT!!! After hours searching “click on the magnifying glass, INVERT”
