Search text highlights text in PDF or webpage

When I do a search in scrivener through all documents, it correclty finds the matching documents that have that search string in any text files, PDFs, or web pages I have in the Research folder. However, the only text that gets highlighted is that which is in a text document, not in a web page or PDF.

Is there a way to have Scrivener highlight the match in other types of documents besides text docs? It would be incredibly useful to know exactly where on the page the string shows up. (evernote, for example will highlight matching text within any sort of viewable document).

Okay, I just discovered that it DOES indeed highlight text in a PDF, just not on a webpage (a webkit page pulled in by dragging the URL into Scrivener).

But I also discovered that once I located matching documents with that string of text, I can do another “cmd-F” and it will jump to the relevant spot on the page, either within the PDF, or within the webkit page.

So never mind this-- I think I have my answers. Thank you, Scrivener developers, for creating this indispensable tool!
