I am so confused here re searching. In most Projects I just search for a word in the Binder and it comes up. But in the Projects where I have Collections (which I don’t recall creating by the way but that’s another issue) I put a search for word (I want to search the whole manuscript) and nothing comes up. For instance the word ‘listen’ which I know is in the book many times, does not come at all all. No search does. What could I be doing wrong?
When in doubt, click the magnifying glass to the left of where you type ‘listen’, and at the bottom of the option list, use the “Reset Search Options” command. This will use a very broad search mode.
As you can see from the settings here, you can make searches quite specific, which may be what is going on.
Otherwise, you could hold down the Option key on the File menu, and use the command to Save and Rebuild Search Indexes, which will only appear while the Option key is pressed, if that doesn’t work.
