Section layouts missing Scrivener 3 mac

I’ve been using Scriviner for a few months now and when it was first installed, I could see the layouts in the compile window. A few weeks back, I was having issues with the layouts and they all disappeared from the compile window. Any assistance in helping me resolve this would be much appreciated.

Diagnostic steps I have taken:

  • choose a different layout
  • use the default layout
  • create a new project (tutorial)
  • uninstall and reinstall Scriviner
  • Edit the project container and remove the Settings/ui.plist and Settings/ui-common.xml files
  • Remove the com.literatureandlatte.scrivener3.plist file

I am currently using version 3.4 (16639)

What version of Mac OS do you have? There are known issues with the Compile command in the Mac OS Tahoe beta: [macOS. 26 Beta 2] Compile dialogue broken - #21 by RuffPub

Thank you for your response. That would be the problem then. I am on 26.0 (25A353) - Beta 6. Is that documented on the forums anywhere? I didn’t see it in my searches.

Just to reiterate, since a lot of people seem to be running into this one.

Use of Scrivener with beta versions of Mac OS or Windows is unsupported and entirely at your own risk. Please make sure you have reliable backups, and avoid using beta software for critical tasks.
