I know this is simple, but I can’t remember.
How do I figure out if any notes are hidden behind other notes?
I would select over the cluttered spot with the marquee select tool, then use the Notes ▸ Stack
, which will arrange them all into a column. Now you can separate them out visually, or just leave it that way if you want.
I’m talking about the whole page not one clustered spot. Isn’t there a “make all notes transparent” feature or something that I can use without destroying my organization of all these notes? I don’t want them in a stack.
Oh I see, well there is “undo” available instead of actually moving anything apart, after using Stack to show everything flat, but in most cases I would bet even selecting everything will show if anything is actually overlapping, because you’d see a bit of the edge of it around the side of another.
Ordinarily it should be pretty hard to get a note fully hidden underneath another, since dragging them anywhere on top of each other connects instead of moves them. So there isn’t really a feature for this, if you will, just some clever tricks. “Stack” + Undo is the closest thing to “showing all notes” there is.
