is there a way, to set the Target Type as default to “Characters”? Scriveners default is “words”, so i have to change the target type manually for every single text …
Searched the manual and this forum but did not find any answer.

Which version of Scrivener are you using? The document target type should default to the last type you selected.

I use scrivener 2.0.5. for mac. I define the target mostly in the outliner mode. And when i create a new Text here, the target-type is always “words”, not characters …
