How do I share a project in Scrivener with my co-author?
Is your co-author a Scrivener user?
Not yet but she could be.
You could share via Dropbox, but you would not be able to collaborate by working on the same project simultaneously. There’s no version control handshake–you’d run into unsynchronised updates, on either side, and a ton of warnings from Scrivener, on both ends.
An alternative would be to extract chunks, using File > Sync > with External Folder (Shift+F7). Read up on the process in the user manual.
Even if she doesn’t have Scrivener, you could exchange ideas that way.
On you side, you’d sync her contributions back into Scrivener, i.e. still no simultaneous collaboration.
