Shortcut for changing elements in scriptwriting mode (2.0)

Hi,

just downloaded 2.0, and hey, it’s great. Can’t wait to buy the upgrade .

But i have one question: why has the shortcut for changing elements in script mode changed from “command + y” to “command + shift +y”. Now “command + y” get’s up anything with an external bibliography-manager - sorry, this isn’t something i need about every 10 seconds while writing a stageplay.

Is there a way to turn the shortcut back like it is 1.54?

Thanks a lot

Because cmd-Y is the standard shortcut for calling up the bibliography manager in most programs, and this is something academic users need a lot.

Also, you’ve now got shortcuts from opt-cmd-1 - opt-cmd-9 to change script elements, making calling up that menu less necessary. And if you still want it, you can always restore the old shortcut using the System Preferences keyboard pane.

Hope that helps.

All the best,
Keith

Worked fine by using the system preferences . So nothing can stop me now from writing with 2.0

Thanks for the ultrafast answer, Keith
