Since Scrivener Updated Part of My Projects are Blank

Since Scrivener updated, part of my projects are totally missing. I had content that is just done. I don’t see files or anything. I had folders with sub sections in them and they’re blank. All my notes and work. It really sucks. I wish they had never rolled this out. I wish I had never upgraded to it.

I used to tell everyone this product was great because it’s a download and not a terrible subscription fee structure that just keeps you paying like you have an endless supply of money. Plus it worked so well to keep notes, written narrative sections, maps, images, everything.

I am so sad. I don’t see how to fix this.

The most common cause of this error is incomplete synchronization. If you are using a cloud service, ensure that it is configured to make Scrivener projects “available offline.”

I am not using a cloud service. It does not recognize my files anymore. I don’t know why. I just wish they had not updated Scrivener. I wish I had not updated to the new version. When I try to create a new document in it, the page does nothing. I cannot write in it.

What platform are you on, and what version?

Have you looked at Scrivener’s automatic backups?

This is what Google Drive could do by renaming your xml-files. You didn’t copy your Project to Drive, or moved it via Drive?
