Getting back to my projects I discovered that I’m about four updates behind on Scrivener. Do I need to install all the updates one by one or can I just take the latest one and be updated on everything?
Seems like a silly question and that I should know this already but I tend to overthink everything. Thank you for your patience.
Just update - it doesn’t work like that if you have Scrivener 3.
Definitely not! It’s basically just the entire program, and the updater is a convenience for downloading from the webpage and dragging the copy in the DMG on top of the previous version in Applications, overwriting it.
So feel free to do that, instead (especially if the updater doesn’t work, for some reason, the Mac updater kit we use has a a glitch that will cause it to damage the install in uncommon cases).
