surely it’s me… but I can’t figure out how to strikethrough. I don’t see an icon, checked all the drop-down menus, and I’ve tried with several different fonts. What am I missing here? Is this simply NOT a feature?
Select text then Shift and Ctrl and then your hyphen.
It’s also in the menu: Format/Font/Strikethrough, if you prefer that to remembering shortcuts.
Also you can add it to the formatting toolbar so it’s always right at hand via “Customize toolbars…” 
And now you can go sleep!
