I just got a new MacBook Air and installed Scrivener on it. I’m having all sorts of problems that I never had before. One of those problems is that this install of Scrivener seems to be missing the Window and Help columns at the top. Do I need to just delete Scrivener and re-install it, or is there another, simpler, thing I can do?
Do the other menu items extend to the Notch or is there just “nothing” on visible screen space?
Thanks for jumping in so quickly. There’s no problem. It’s just me, adjusting to the changes from a very old MacBook to a present-day MacBook. The Windows and Help columns were there, just on the other side of the notch., separated from everything else.
Duhhhh.
Thanks for reporting back. I hate those fucking notches.
I have only been dealing with the notches for a few days, but … yeah. Me too.
I have yet to have the pleasure (hopefully never do), but I’ve always felt like that thing would trigger my spider reflex. You know, that spot on the wall in your peripheral vision that you keep nervously glancing at, even though you know it’s there and you’ve already ensured it’s not a spider several hundred times over the past month?
Imagine it’s actually there and won’t go away. Ever.
Some people say you stop noticing it after a couple of minutes. Okay, that may be true. Now make it grow more space in that already cramped area!
