I have a document in my project with a single inspector footnote that I was compiling in isolation to check how it would look. But my footnote did not appear at all.
After playing around, I found that this was down to the placement of where the footnote anchors to. I could add footnotes to points in most of a given page, and they would appear correctly in the compiled PDF. But if I anchor a footnote to a word that I know will compile at the bottom of a page (say within the last 3 lines or so), the footnote is completely ignored. So, I can have a document where some footnotes are printed, and some are not.
I don’t have experience with other versions of Scrivener to know whether this is normally handled correctly.
I’m using v220.127.116.11 64-bit
