Spell checker in french - correcteur orthographique en français

Hello,

I am a new user, french-speaking, writing in french on windows (and in english for you), Scrivener 3.0.

Even though I downloaded the French dictionary, the spell checker underlines all the words in red…
What setting did I miss? What should I do to get the spell checker to work?

Bien que j’aie téléchargé le dictionnaire français, le correcteur orthographique souligne tous les mots en rouge…
Quel paramètre ai-je raté? Que dois-je faire pour que le correcteur orthographique fonctionne ?

Have you selected your language from File → Options → General → Language, aside from the selection a personal dictionary under File → Options → Corrections → Spelling → Dictionary?

I had selected the language thinking that there was no more to do; I hadn’t seen the correction and dictionary selection option. It’s done, and everything is OK now.
