There is a strange semi-transparent overlay at the top of the outline view in full-screen mode, covering my first and second documents.

Thanks, I was able to reproduce this as well. I did find though that you can avoid the problem by hiding Scrivener’s main toolbar (View ▸ Hide Toolbar), so that may help you as a workaround for now.
