Why using Scrivener to work on Markdown projects?

According to a research carried on by Adobe, most people currently develop technical documents in style-based programs, like Microsoft Word or their own FrameMaker.

Pure Markdown is only chosen by 8% of the respondents.

Scrivener is a style-based editor, that can generate Markdown output from documents that already approximate the visuals appearance of the final documents during authoring.

Assuming Adobe did an accurate research, it looks like Scrivener is a tool that may be among the most beloved by technical authors.

(Now, all that I miss is a live preview of Markdown images…)
