Hello, I was wondering why my styles, which had been set for a while, have changed back to Helvetica since I updated to the latest version for Mac. I had this problem when I first got Scrivener and I don’t know if subsequent versions improved it or I did by using the same font in general setting. I had not had the problem for a long time. Now every so often, the styles change (not necessarily after closing a project) and turn into Helvetica. I spent a lot of time researching the font combination and I am spending a lot of time change back and forth. Thank you for your help.
I’ve seen this. It’s been this way for years.
So you have to be vigilant, and change them back.
Thanks. I don’t really understand what is going on. I managed to keep them the same for about a year and now, some styles don’t even reflect what they are supposed to be. Yes, the fonts are available to the software.
I also don’t understand it, and it is likely the gurus at L&L don’t either, as they are otherwise quite motivated to fix any problem.
What’s likely going on is Scrivener, which is far and away the best writing program ever, is not perfect, and has occasional glitches like any software will, and is not behaving as it should in this instance.
