[Suggestion] Scrivener 2.9.0.4 is still not good enough to read pdf files

Authors of scientific articles often require a large number of PDF files in the RESEARCH. It’s important for them to be able to highlight and comment on it
They want to have a Scrivener like a reference management software (Citavi, EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley,…)

Authors of scientific articles usually have a professional, dedicated software for handling all the scientific articles we need to read and annotate before we can write our own. I almost never import complete pdf’s into Scrivener. I only import my own comments together with any highlights, the complete bibliographic reference, the citekey and a backlink to the pdf in my reference software database. That’s all.
